Description: For sale here is a nice Pre WW1 German Cavalry Uhlan Tobacco Pipe. The pipe appears to be named to Christ. Heitebach. The pipe is dated 1883, and looks like it says Koblenz above that. The front of the pipe features a Cavalry Soldier on his horse holding out his sword. The back features 2 hands shaking. There are other patterns and words covering the pipe. The pipe shows use, age, wear, and there looks like a cleanly repaired crack at the base. The pipe shows plenty of use and smoking. The white porcelain base also shows use, age, wear, and tobacco, with period paper stuffed into one of the holes. The wooden stem is in good shape, but the tube is worn through at the bend. Overall, a good looking used pipe with Uhlan motif. Please see my other eBay store at Cadencemilitaria2 for more great items. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
