Description: In excellent condition this paper map has a printing date of 1943 and measures 83cm x 62cm. Due to its large scale (1:500,000) the map also features Munich, annexed Austria, a small portion of Switzerland and some of Slovenia which had been divided into three by Germany, Italy and Hungary. It is one of a collection of 90 WW2 RAF Air Maps that I have recently acquired which had clearly belonged to one airman. They were all folded identically and neatly bundled with string ties. They had clearly not been opened since the end of the war. Will be shipped as per its existing folds.
