Description: Set of 4 WW2 Era "Trench Art" sweetheart pendants, made from Australian silver florin coins, includes coins from 1941, 1942, 1943, and 1944. 1942 and 1944 have soldered bails, 1943 soldered bail with free bail attached, 1941 drilled hole only. They measure approximately 1-1/8" (2.9 cm) in length overall, including the added bail ring for hanging. It is about 1" (2.5 cm) wide and 1/4" (6 mm) thick. The inside measures just over 3/4" (2.1 cm). This is an "open" locket, as shown, and differs from a standard locket. A picture can be pushed into it for a snug fit, ensuring it won't fall out.A nice set for a collector of these objects.
