The case and bracelet are made of solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel and are coated with multiple layers of metallic PVD with alternating brushed and mirrored finishes. The charcoal gray dial displays easy-to-read white luminous numbers and hands, which are made from Swiss Super-Luminova® material. The watch has raised silver numbers on the outer bezel. The watch has 2 rotating bezels. The outer bezel records elapsed time in minutes or seconds. The crown-operated inner bezel at 10 o'clock records elapsed time in hours or as a partial second time zone. The watch features a top-of-the-line, self-winding, shock-resistant 24-jewel mechanical automatic movement, made in Japan by Citizen. This automatic movement provides high precision and long-term reliability. Built to last, the Air Commando is made with a screw-down crown at 3 o'clock and a rugged surgical-grade stainless steel case that is water-resistant to 300 meters (~990 feet). Each tube that holds a crown is welded to the case. The case is covered with a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal.
