Description: This is a set of new heavy duty motorcycle rear shock absorbers. We have been selling and installing these shocks in our service department for over 30 years. They have a free length of 10.5 inches from eye to eye which is 1.25" shorter than the original stock shocks. They are ideal if converting to a bobber or if you just want to lower your bike. The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions. The spring adjuster tool is included. The proper metal bushings are preinstalled for ease of installation. The green wire ties that you see in the photos are there to secure the bushings and keep them from being lost. These shocks are ready to install as they are and require no further modification. PRICE INCLUDES BOTH SHOCKS. THESE ARE SHORT SHOCKS. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO DETERMINE IF THIS LENGTH IS APPROPRIATE FOR THEIR APPLICATION. THE ORIGINAL SHOCKS ON 1984-1987 MODELS HAVE RUBBER GROMMETS IN THE TOP EYELETS WHICH EVENTUALLY CRACK AND SPLIT. THIS SET OF HEAVY DUTY SHOCKS HAVE METAL BUSHINGS IN ALL EYELETS.
