It features a steamboat named Helen from early 1900s (pre 1925) with passengers and Pennsylvania railroad bridge in background. It is on the Susquehanna river and traveled from Wrightsville to Columbia in Lancaster, PA. It is a black & white real photo postcard. It was one of 2 steamboats (Helen & Mary) which were destroyed in an icestorm in 1925. Fun Fact - Wrightsville indicates that the first iron steamboat, "The Codorus" was built there by John Elgar and launched in 1825. It was not postmarked, but there is a message written on back - "Mother from Ella".
